My Library Account - A Guide

This guide helps you manage your library account and learn how to renew books, save your reading history, and more

View loans & renew books

After signing in, you will see an Overview of your My Library Account - Loans, Requests and Fine + fees.

From here, you can view information on your loan and requests. You can also perform actions such as renewing all your loan items.

From the Loan tab, you can view your current loans under Active loans. Select Renew All if you want to renew all items. To renew individual items, select Renew next to your desired item.

Online renewal will NOT be accepted if:

  • An item is requested by another user.
  • The renewed date has exceeded the specified maximum renewal period from the date of the initial check-out.
  • The loan rule specifies that an item (e.g. a media resource or a short loan item) cannot be renewed at all.
  • A borrower has long overdue books or over $30 unpaid library fines.
  • A borrower whose borrowing privilege has been suspended or terminated.

Refer to the "Borrowing of Library Materials" page for details.
