Utilizing Web of Science for Tracking Open Peer Review

This assessment guarantees that the research meets the designated criteria for academic journal publication or conference presentation. In the context of open science, Open Peer Review (OPR) has gained prominence as a method to enhance the transparency, rigor, and inclusivity of research.

Recently, Web of Science (WOS) introduced a new feature - “View open peer reviews”, which unveils the review process behind publications, enhancing the transparency of academic discourse.  

Search for the research topic of interest (e.g., "AI") in Web of Science

 

On the left side of the page, in the "Quick Filters" column, check "Open publisher-invited reviews" and click "Refine".The system will display the records that meets the criteria. Click on any of them to view. 

 

On the details page, you will see a "View open peer reviews" link; click to access. 

On the new page, click "Open and View All" or select a specific section to view.
