Open Access (OA) refers to free, unrestricted and permanent online access to research outputs (and research data) provided that the author/creator is properly attributed. OA benefits researchers, institutions and society as a whole. It is now a trend and a requirement from many research funding agencies such as the Research Grants Council in Hong Kong.
The series of events in the Open Access Week @ CityU organized by the Library aim at raising OA awareness among our research community and sharing tips on achieving OA.
