You can perform the following steps to conduct the search:
Start by navigating to the ESI homepage.
Select "Institutions" as your result list, and then choose "Research Fields," for example, "Materials Science," as your filter.
On the right side, institutions entering the ESI top 1% in that research field are displayed in order of citation count. Click on the arrow next to "Institutions" to bring up Filters, enter the institution name to quickly locate the target institution. The number displayed represents the institution's ranking. It's crucial to keep the "Cites" in descending order. For instance, In the field of "Materials Science," among 1547 institutions entering the top 1%, an institution ranking below 155 signifies entry into the top 1‰.
Similarly, click on the arrow next to "Countries/Regions" to apply filters. For example, enter "Hong Kong" and view all local institutions from Hong Kong that have entered the top 1% in "Materials Science." If a local institution's rank is less than 155, it means that it has entered the top 1‰.
