Teaching Support from the Library - A Guide for Teaching Staff

• CityU faculty, staff and students can suggest books or other resources to be added to our collections by filling out a recommendation form. 

• Refer to the Library Collection Development Policy for selection of library materials, acquisition criteria, and more.

The Library can reserve media items for you to use in class:

• Send your request to lbres@cityu.edu.hk preferably two weeks before the class.
• Refer to the Requesting Media Items for Class Use page for more.

The required reading you have selected for your course can be put on Course Reserve so that materials in high demand can be borrowed by more students on a short-term basis:

• Course Reserve - Depositing Service - details on how to make different types of materials available to your students
• Course Reserve Collection - access the collection and perform a search by instructor or course code.

You are strongly advised to submit the syllabi and reading lists to the Library in advance for your courses to be offered in the new semester.
