To switch Word from EndNote Desktop to EndNote Online Classic:
Insert a citation
Edit a citation
To make any changes to inserted citations, use the Edit Citation(s) option on the Word tool bar. If you make the changes to the Word document directly all the changes will be lost when EndNote updates the document.
