EndNote for Windows Part 1

EndNote is a citation management software tool that you can use to store and manage references, and insert in-text citations and a bibliography when writing academic papers.

In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • create a personal EndNote library of searchable references;
  • add references to the EndNote library from various sources;
  • organize references in the EndNote library for easy retrieval;
  • insert citations into an MS Word document in a preferred style;
  • register for an EndNote Online account and have a brief overview of some of its major features.

In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • work effectively with PDF documents;
  • keep references up-to-date and organized;
  • edit an output style;
  • apply tips for working with Word;
  • share references with others.

In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • get started with Mendeley Desktop and Mendeley Web for Windows;
  • add references to Mendeley library;
  • search and organize references in Mendeley library.
